Can you turn off the dynamic lighting, I can barely see what's going on in that render

I said render because it's still a render, its not like the fact that the rendering engine is part of a video game changes whether it's a digitally generated image...

Alright, I've never seen the phrase render be used in regards to an in-game image. My bad

You probably can't see anything because there's nothing to see, it's literally just a bunch of boxes stacked together.
(I'm assuming It's this way as a prototyping phase so he can get animations and everything figured out before modeling the final product / He's experimenting with something of a node base to make a customizable mech?)

Use smoothing on the uneven triangulation.

Alternately, make all of the triangulated faces coplanar.

Also, that second hole in the blade, you'll have to model the blade without it then intersect an octagonal cylinder with it and subtract the difference.

Otherwise it looks pretty good.

there's no reason it wouldn't be but it's not actually a titanfall reference

it's more like a scocreepg (which, incidentally, is the inspiration for titans in the first place)

the head is sooo undersized for the body.
