20k tris so far, plan to keep it under 22k tops. Doors are animated and can be opened with buttons using interactive vehicle support. Kinda hoping to find a way to disable mounting so players can walk through the train.

so i was trying to replicate the animation style of the kirby anime

cel-shaded 3d models mixed with 2d drawings

i made this little test of one of the characters from my game, icegon, and nobita


the 3d model is lacking and the... nobita, you said his name is could be shaded a little better. i recall someone posting a shading tutorial, but you should try having one consistent light source so it looks better. hope this helps

okay.
if you're trying to do shading, please try and establish some form of light source first off

i colorcoded the different light directions i found
there's like 4. that ain't good.
there should only be one main light source
