Author Topic: Variable event crime system  (Read 635 times)

Ok Ive got basic knowledge of how they work, so you don't have to give me the full tutorial.  What I'm having trouble with is trying to add a crime system to my rpg (don't ask about it it'll probably fail miserably anyway, but I'm attempting to do one anyway).

I'm trying to add a variable called bounty to a player if they kill another player/bot.

The murderer also gets some money if they kill someone.

then when someone kills the murderer, they get money based on how much bounty that person has, and doesn't get a bounty for that kill

Thanks in advance.

wait.....you cant make a crime/bounty system i dont think,the best use i found is resource mod :D

ya Ive figured out how to make a resource mod, I guess what I'm really asking is if it is possible.

most likely not,do you actully want to place bounties for revenge or something?

No, I wanted it to add a bounty to someone if they killed someone else, automatically, it would be abusive if anyone could declare a bounty, at least in my opinion.

my only thought would be city rp but that failed and burned ALONG time ago

Well I wouldn't want to use city rp anyway, so it's impossible with variable events eh? dang

resources is how far my knowledge of it extends anyway, ask the creator of the mod,he should know

As there are no input events for players (No not onPlayerTouch, that's a brick input), I doubt this is possible.

Ok, well thanks anyway, I guess my question is answered.
