OK I lied, Pokemon Snap is the first game I ever actually owned, but not the first game I ever played. I only just remembered this yesterday.

The first game I ever played was actually Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle for the ColecoVision. I was really young at the time and found the game monstrously difficult.

The game and system were actually very old when I played it, I had bought the ColecoVision from a garage sale, since it was made long before I was born.
