Name your guitar setup here...

American Fender Strat plus (Haha, don't laugh, it's the only guitar avalible to me...)

Marshall amplifier

Digitech RP200 effects processor, so I don't get a stuffty soud from the fender.

You can't get much more vague than that.

Also, since when is an American strat bad? And effects can't cover up the sound of a bad guitar.

Do you have the slightest idea what you're talking about?

Drums ftw.

That's a pretty stupid comment. What will you drum to without instruments?

I was saying drums are better. Guitars like, second place. :D

That's called opinion. Both are important.

If you want to get technical, guitar has more of an ability to go solo than drums do.

No, not really, since I just started playing and this is the equipment my dad gave me to use...

Drums being played by themselves would just be stupid.

Good point.

I think drums are more important though:

Band with the following would do well:

Drums
Keyboard
Bass
Vocals

Band with the following would not do aswell:

Guitar
Keyboard
Bass
Vocals

This is because drums are very distinct and add an important layer to the sound of music. If you take away this it just isn't the same. You can easily recreate guitar on a good keyboard.

Ontopic:

Crafter cruiser and an amp I cannot currently check what the brand and make is. That's it because I only use them for making my songs and I sort out everything else at our band's rehearsal place with my guitarist's guitar setup.

Ibanez ART300, black

Martian Dreadnought acoustic electric, black

Line 6 Spider III Combo Practice Amp 15w

Line 6 Spider Jam 75w

Marshall Stack w/ 2 15w cabinets

Hey look, there's a drum set setting on my keyboard. Isn't that awesome?!

I know but that's just a random assortment of different drum beats. Totaly different.

And that differs from an assortment of notes? I fail to see the logic in this argument.
