Nothing could survive without god, and if god wasn't here,we wouldn't be here, not having this discussion right now.

That, right there, is exactly what YOU said. That looks, to me, almost like a subtle form of an attempt at conversion.

If you think science answers all, think again.

People say that the universe began with the big bang, but what caused the big bang to form?
What made the big bang? The big bang just cannot appear out of nowhere, it is created by god.
Oh, and humans aren't monkeys, if we were monkeys, what is the proof? Nothing could survive without god, and if god wasn't here,we wouldn't be here, not having this discussion right now.

They have thought up ways the big bang could have started, reactor stated one of the theories. I've also heard something about energy converting to matter or summat, but I'm no expert so don't take my word on any of this 'less someone feels like verifying it.

That's not conversion, that's ignorance/stubbornness. (Some would say there is not much of a difference but either way...)

I didn't mean to use the word conversion, but it was the only thing I could think of at the time.

I don't know how to word it, but it seems that he's trying to cram it in with an almost 'commanding' tone.
Ugh, I can't explain it :(

He was being assertive!

Well yeah, he is.

Borderline attack on beliefs pretty much, "Don't believe this stuff, believe my stuff" basically.

Anyways,

That's the main purpose of the LHC, it's to reproduce a controlled big bang to help the science community progress through what is basically a theoretical stub.

I wonder what bullstuff excuse they'll come up with to say the the LHC tests are invalid.

If you think science answers all, think again.

Your right we arent monkeys.  We didnt come from monkeys either.

Do you remember my post about evolution being imposible. We also have no evidence of actual evolution. There are no half monkey-human, or anything of the like.
There arent suppose to be half monkey humans.

Evolution is survival of the adaptable.  Adaptable :/
I mean those that can adapt, survive.    So you wouldnt have half monkey humans walkin around.  They're all dead.  Or in some isolated area or w/e

We didnt even come from monkeys.  Homo Habilis, Homo Erectus, Neandertal,  Australopithecus, and all those other cool guys are people we coulda broken off from.

Sorry that was kinda bothering me.

And plenty of civilizations have worshipped the sun.  Aztecs, Mayans, Romans, Egyptians, etc.

I wonder what bullstuff excuse they'll come up with to say the the LHC tests are invalid.

The usual: "Because I say so"

-snip-
Romans don't worship the sun, they worship the planets, I think.

Yeah my bad I got that mixed up.  Greeks and Romans.
They didnt worship the Sun directly, but Gods of the Sun
Apollo and the others I cant remember

My poit exactly, then how did the earth become?
Arandom explosion that somehow created matter from out of the blue.

No, gravity made everything condense together.

Most ancient religions worshiped the Sun in the form of a god or godess.
They didn't knw much about it, so they turned it into a sort of human form to try and relate with it more.
Cristians just smushed all of the gods into one almighty lord.

If you think science answers all, think again.

Ah, you have found the bases of the theory of the big bounce! Linkzors!

The big bang was the result of the previous universe compacting to something infinitely small with infinite mass. Eventually a breaking point was hit and the universe exploded, giving us what we see today. Eventually the universe will start to compact, and the cycle will continue. thus its like a bouncing universe :D

Suck on that.

This is true, if anyone cares. They're discovered that under certain conditions they lose some energy and gain some matter. Don't you just love science? Soon I expect them to disprove relativity.
