Well, I'm just making a handgun. I think it's because I'm not using triangle strips... or something.

its because you're not making an empty called detail32 and Shape.
Then parent your model to detail32 and parent detail32 to shape.

If you already did that i have no clue

hmm... working on that now. Get back if it works...

then send me it and ill tell you whats wrong and fix it.

More specifically, I parented it to Detail32, which was parented to Shape, and the selected polygons disappeared, because they were parented to an invisible. :P

Also, the export log for the most recent DTS...

Sorry to double post AND bump my ancient topic, but I've been working on this.

I made the empty Detail32, parented it to the invisible Shape, and it didn't do anything, even though it moved the model in Blender  :/

Also, on a side note, here's the part concerning my handgun:

The part that says Collision-2 used to say Collision-1, so we're getting SOMEwhere  :L

Also, it would be good to know how to flatshade in Blender.

EDIT:  I parented Detail32 to Shape, and the model to Detail32, but it still got the error :\
It must not be about the parenting...?

Nope, it still doesn't work, and my custom shell is way too big.  lol.
