here's an idea, why don't the RTB team pick particularly high quality/interesting/etc add-ons to display in a kind of 'recommended' add-on list so people can, at one glance, see mainstream add-ons for their servers

if that doesn't work, i could set one up in the add-ons section.

no, i meant like the add-on moderators could personally choose add-ons they think are outstanding quality

like, say, even though ephi's shotgun isn't in the top ten it could still be 'referred' and placed on the front page so people can at a glance see add-ons recommended for quality

No, "RTB Staff's top 20 add-ons"

Its possible we could do some sort of "spotlight" thing, although I'd prefer it to be automated since just approving all your add-ons is a pretty time-consuming task. I guess there could be a "Community Choice" add-on which is the highest rated add-on for the day or something.

Perhaps each person could get like 3 votes each month for their favorite add-ons. If they won, they would get in the "Add-on Hall of Fame", and stay there.

Then, after they're in the "Add-on Hall of Fame", they couldn't be revoted for. And maybe the "Top 5" add-on thing could just be the top 5 most downloaded for that day or week.
