Author Topic: "who shot me?" effect  (Read 1484 times)

you guys know the death effect in Team Fortress, right

how if a sniper sniped your sorry ass halfway across the map you wouldn't just see yourself crumpling on the ground, you'd see you crumpling on the ground for a breif second, then the camera zooms in on the sniper taunting at you

for longer ranged kills, do you think we could do some form of imitation?

This would be awesome.

KillCamera FTW. They have this in CoD too.

What COD does is alot of data and recording which was nicly implamented in the game, wut TF2 has could be easily done.

Do you mean like in 'starwars battlefront'? When you die, the camera looks at who shot you.

Kill cam is mean to snipers. It gives away their position. :*(

Real snipers move from place to place to keep the enemy busy

Yes, but only after a couple kills. Not to mention real snipers have free roam to hundreds of possible spots. In games there are really only one or two good sniper spots per map.

Bad idea, because then you reveal the sniper's location.
Even if they did move from where they were, that person would still have a general idea of where they are and hunt them down.

Plus, I personally like to confuse people to where I was, and this would take the fun away from that.

I'd really enjoy it. For those of you that don't like it, don't download it when/if it is made insted of shooting it down.

Yeah this would be great to be embarrassed and have a closeup of the bad-ass that had pwnt your sorry ass bigger than Tom Cruise on Oprah.

Don't change the subject name.

That would be really cool. Especially if you are making an action video for Blockland XD.

That would be an Epic Win, But it would be hard to do.

How the hell would it be hard to do?
