Author Topic: Blockland at school.  (Read 3084 times)

Today at school in computers class we had a substitute teacher. He said that we could do anything we wanted. I went and downloaded Blockland onto the school computer. I typed my activation key in for the full version. Then the people around me wanted to play as well. After these people downloaded they joined my LAN game. I had like 8 people playing. The substitute looked at my screen and asked me what the game was. I replyed, "Blockland". He said, "Is it Multiplayer?." I answered, "Yeah". Then he was like "Pretty cool game." He watched me for a few minutes and he told me that he might invest in getting the game. Pretty cool day at school.

Wait, you showed people at school Blockland, and you didn't commit social Self Delete?

For handicapped statements like above, (social Self Delete)
computers class

The computer class is required by everyone. It's not an elective.

Oh okay.
But still. I don't see the problem with showing people what you like.
I wish I could play games when I went to school. In programming class, I finished every project on the 1st or 2nd day.

Kid1: What game do you like to play allot? I play Halo.
Kid2: Sweet, I play allot of Gears of War.
Kid3: Hah, you guys got nothing, I play Blockland!  :cookieMonster:

Yea, would be social Self Delete at my school...

I'm glad I have friends that like me for who I am, and not for what I play. Over half of them don't even play games either.

Hahaha oh man, thats hilarious. You must be such a shielded child.

When people first saw me playing blockland at school they asked for my code so they could use it.

I said no. When ever anyone gets a new computer game it goes around on a flashdrive. Kinda sad.

I rofl at the first reply.

I Might have mis-understood the use of the words "social Self Delete", but.........HEY! HEY! SCREW YOU, MAN! BLOCKLAND IS 10x BETTER THAN THOSE GAMES, AND YOU KNOW IT!!! YOU NOT ONLY GET COOL 1ST PERSON SHOOTER GAME PLAY WITH TONS OF MODS, BUT YOU ALSO GET MORE OF OTHER THINGS!!!

I never said I didn't like Blockland, but going around saying you play a lego game is definitely not the first impression I want to give people.  I have a few friends that play BL, I'm just saying I'm not going to go around shouting it off the hills.

That wasn't my first impression with these people. I started playing by myself and they asked me what it was.
