I hate to criticize, but while it's a nice update with the physics and all, removing the shapename functionality was a loving stupid idea.
Why?

Well you took it out to prevent people from impersonating others.
And because there is no longer the shapename there, it's even easier because you don't need a serverside script to change the shapename - you can just change your appearance.

So basically by your own totalitarian power mongering you've made our totalitarian power mongering easier without doing a thing to actually stop it. People will abuse people no matter what you restrict, but unless you remove add-ons entirely (which I know you've considered) it's not gonna stop.

Lol, you're quite the idiot.  He's made the server list identify the person running the server and he's made it so that you can't change your name to anything else, and, if something has attempted to change your name, it's obvious to all.  You don't need setShapeName anyway.  Just be creative.  Oh wait, that's the real problem here.  No one here knows how to loving do anything.  I speak from experience when I say that Badspot is more than willing to improve the game / engine to overcome certain limitations that might affect worthwhile Add-Ons.  Quit producing garbage, and quit trying to ruin the game for others.  Bad eggs in the community forced Badspot to play the role of the disciplinarian, and that inevitably results in perceived loss of fun and or freedom.  The game is still the same game, so go on, enjoy it, and quit bitching.

Yeah, I just checked, attempting to change it does nothing, doesn't even take it off.
There must be some sort of bug in the servers then, or they aren't running v11 perhaps.
The names show up on my server. I'm fine with that. I don't change them anyways.

Edit: And so he said it himself.

I changed the way .setshapename works on players so that add-ons will not be able to use it.  Names are still intended to be displayed. 

There is an issue where certain add-ons (such as minigameplusplus) define a script function Player::SetShapeName, which ends up breaking the whole thing.  This bug crept in because I didn't think it was possible to overwrite a c++ console method like that but apparently it is.

Why does turning my physics on even to low when their are no physic bricks decrease my fps from 120 to 34?

Sweet I just came from school and i put on blockland and it said updating and i was HELL YEAH i screamed all over the house xD

My review of V.11:

It's 'okey'

I bet many of us had too high expectiations. I mean, The video of the beta were awesome! The thought of beeing able to blow bricks up in to the skies were awesome! But ... I don't know :/ 
It's fun, it's fun as hell, but the bricklimit of faked killed bricks is too low, i guess it's because many computers can't handla more than a couple of hundreds. But It's still a dissapointment. I have a new ultra fast PC, and I still experience lag when I mininuke a big structure. That doesn't have to do with the computer it self, it has to do with optimizeing the game. I can easily have 5k barrels in Crysis going on at the same time in Crysis at full graphics and antialiasing. But I can't have 100 bricks in Blockland... Doesn't make any sence.

But anyways - it was cool trying the physics out, and I have lots and lots of ideas now what to build :D good job you guys who worked with it.

I found a glitch....Say you have a wall of fake killed bricks if you shoot at them the projectile goes straight through them as if ray casting here turned off.

You cannot shoot fakekilled bricks.
