Whenever you build an enclosed room, you should make the roof at least 7 bricks tall.  When it's only 5 tall it looks really bad.

Real uncomfortable, i'd imagine.
This is good, for a first time build, but look at some real good builds and try to learn from them.

lol i think it was 7 tall that a block guy couldn't jump over. i would make walls and such at 7 and keep off jets.
you could see over it when jumping but could never catch the ledge
