Author Topic: Weird side of brick bug after rocket launcher overuse  (Read 2597 times)

I was on a passworded server of my own shooting rocket launchers at things in Beta City, and I was shooting rocket launchers in the museum, when I found this weird... face... side of brick... or something floating in the place.  I could walk right through it and I could shoot right through it, but I couldn't get rid of it.  I took screenshots, below.  Any idea what this is?

Me looking at the floating face.

Me behind the floating face, proving that the floating face is not back-faced.

Me floating outside the bedroom looking at the floating face, now turned a shade of blue.

Update: I found another one next to it.

That happens to me. All the loving time. Its annoying as hell.

What video card do you have? We have had issues with some cards and the latest rendering optimizations.

This has actually happened to me quite abit, although I fix it by switching to full screen then back. Is there any other way to fix it?

Nvidia GeForce 8500 GT

Also, wow.  There are certainly becoming more...

Do you have the latest drivers?

Sorry for the delay, was checking, and no.  Apparently, I don't.  Is that the problem?

I'll try it tomorrow, got an 8500, too.

Most likely.

I randomly had a stretched brick show up for a few seconds too, But atleast it went for me,

If new drivers fixes it then the drivers were the problem. If new drivers don't fix it then the problem is something else. It's quick and easy, try it. If it still does it then we will try something else.

I keep seeing ghost players, but I know what the cause is. When someone gets a major crash there player and ID stay there. When you come back to the server your Player is there and your ID is there then soon after they both disappear.

Intel sucks at releasing drivers :(

Happened to Tc. (He actually posted a loving topic about it in Help using my account. I need a new password.)
