I found this chart one teen violence :D
Which just goes to show that I was right. Video games are great for anger management. Right about the time where video games were on the rise the teen violence dropped drastically.

The average parent is like: "Why blame our selve, even though its our fault, when we can play the Video game companies. Also lets go get our troops out of Iraq :3."

I played Doom when I was 9, and now I crave large amounts of gore in games, but cringe at the sight of gory murders.

Well, the key point here is what type of game it is. For example: Grand Theft Auto is dangerous because it takes place in the real world. That's why GTA games are considered worse than GoW (both gears of war and god of war). If a kid sees a lot of violence against aliens and such, they won't connect it to real life.

I never was influenced by video games that much.

I wouldn't kill civilians in GTA4, it's a huge waste of time trying to run away from the cops, plus you lose a huge amount of money when you get busted or die.

I played Halo CE Birthday I had after it came out...

I was 7...

First game I ever played, Duke nukem 3D for N64. Lol.....It was rated M.

First game I ever played was Mortal Kombat 2 I when I was 5 or 6, and I didn't take anything bad out of it.

I have been playing "M" Rated since 6.

Thats why I have a forgeted up mind.

Grand Theft Auto is dangerous
No Grand theft auto is fine. You need to understand that when you do bad things like stealing cars, there consequences for what you do (police cars chasing you down, helicopters come after you). It hasn't been proven that video games can cause change a person to where he would want to hurt or kill someone. It doesn't really matter what game it is, video games aren't some kind of mind warping weapon.

It went down when violent games came out. See it's true it helps us relieve our anger.

I got my first M-Game at the age of 8.
It was for the Gamecube, don't worry.
Resident Evil 4?
