Author Topic: Returntoblockland, A killer?  (Read 3072 times)

I've used all 3 and much more without any problems.
I'm surprised my game doesn't break with all the add-ons that package the same command.

Give us your console log so we can tell what the hell you did to badspots game.

My server ports don't work half the time even though they are done correctly, I know for a fact this is not fault of Return to Blockland 2.03, it is probably because my router is just extremely slow...

I have found out the problem...
It was the mission editor.

So If I want to host a server, I remove -mod editor from the internal link and: volia.

I run with editor all the time.

Is it jsut me or is RTB running WAY to slowly?

And isn't Ephi out of town for like another week? Mocheese, please come to the rescue!

Nope ephi's in town.

Well I thought RTB was the problem to me not being  to host anymore. I couldn't host anymore when I got rtb, but recently I installed a second BL and hosted a game. The server still died. The problem showed up on he same day v10 came. Maybe Badspot made it so you can't host on certain ports(this is just a theory).

Put your mission editor short cut seperate from your regular game. It helps

Ah, well i dont know if its RtB but my servers are dead 24/7 the only way I can use Blockland is if i log off my screen, log back on, and as soon as my desktop opens click the Blockland icon.........even this doesnt work all the time. But believe me I've posted 2 topics for help on this already and they get no good responses.

Yeah, yesterday I couldn't even use the mod manager, it was going SO SLOW.

Yeah our server had some issues so I rebooted it, some weird hanging processes not terminating which were eating the CPU.

Also I am not in town, I just happen to have an internet connection out here.

Sorry for bringing up and OLD Topic.
But I am re-downloading Blockland again.
This time, I am avoiding RtB (Not to offend Ephi) and any add-ons I think that could screw up badspot's game.

Considering RTB Work pretty closely with Badspot i highly doubt this will mess up your game sir.

I ran a server for hours yesterday and I have RTB.  you fail.
Anyways, how about you try re-installing blockland then only download RTB? If you can host then it's a add-on you have.

It completely wrecks not only my Blockland, but my entire internet connection! I cannot connect to my internet and my router goes dead.
