I'm just picking on you because your post just happens to be the most convenient for me to comment on; please understand that this horribly flawed retort is quite the epidemic on the forum and it's not just you.
Posting a rebuttal to an argument and then telling your opponent that you don't want to argue anymore is a horrible tactic. You're provoking someone to respond to you and then asking them to stand down!
If you don't want someone to respond to the thread anymore, stop posting! Let them get the last word! You people are almost intolerable with this "I'm right and you're not, now lets stop arguing and be friends" nonsense you constantly try and pull!
As a rule of thumb, you should avoid saying "Let's end this" unless it is immediatley followed with "once and for all. TO THE THUNDERDOME!"
