Anyone mind filling me in on how this one is any different than the others? (apart from the addition of pokemon and a map change)
Well i bought it this morning, and the major changes I'm seeing so far apart from the storyline stuff is that everything's 10 times faster. Text speed is faster, battles are much faster, later on supposedly surfing is also faster.
That aside, there was a huge list of 25+ additions, like more legendaries and more stuff underground, move tutor things and more post game content in general. Just started playing it and I'm falling in love with it again.
Oh boy, 50 more pokemon to remember about, including their name, diet, weight etc.
I don't think they added any in this game, they just expanded the amount of pokemon available all over the place before you beat the game and pretty much get the whole 470 or whatever they're at now. Instead of 150 it's 200, adding a few more of the types that were scarce in pearl/diamond (more loving fire types!). The game seems like a big improvement on pearl and diamond but that's it, great if you don't already own P/D or if you have money lying around that you don't want to invest in stocks right now.
