You need to have a ping of 33.333 to get 30 frames a second.
You need a ping of 50 for 20 frames a second.
I guess its awesome for people with fiber optic, but for the price they are paying I don't see why they don't have a nice computer.

Can I try new games before buying?
Yes. You can play the latest and greatest demos, and even rent games to try them out. OnLive also lets you watch the top players as a way to discover new games and learn a few new tricks.

K, that is bad-ass. Will be useful for when you are new to a game. Also, they say that it is EXTREMELY fast, almost instant.

I signed up for beta too :) I could see this being good for people who want to game w/ out a console, and have a really crappy computer (or a mac). But this won't replace gaming on a high-end system, or a real console. I still think its going to lag, but we will see.

As a mac user I could really benefit from this, providing they have some good games. I would be really interested if it could play Warhammer Online, which I want to start playing, but its for mac... I wonder if they considered adding MMORPGs..
