Author Topic: What should the final three Slate Edits be?  (Read 5998 times)

I suggest you do a moving ground/scary space.

Also, Slate VR

(Remember at Metal Gear? Just like that)

I really can't see myself using any slate edits besides the desert one, slate fields, and slate aurora. The rest are just.. weird. Maybe like a blue prints type thing. I could imagine actually using it for something.

[GSF]ghost did this n his "GSF Blue Prints" map.

Here is a link to it: http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=44273.0

You need one of these to not have a ground texture like the original slate does.

A Slate similar to Build a Space Station, only with blurry stars, like hyperspace.

... whats sad is I don't think this is a joke.

what about the others

Slate City? Maybe with a city view skybox and asphalt terrain?

So what is the fix for slate stormy? no water?
It would be nice if there was a no-water slate stormy, it wouldn't take a image space, it would just be a alternative.

You could just build above the water.

a starry space map
a heaven/interstellar void map
and a snowy ocean map

Those would be my first picks but otherwise i'm thinking something like, Fireball and the ground is scorched and dusty looking with a red light sort of like a summer dawn.

I think you should change slate flipped to the actual slate map, but flipped upside down.

Also, as for your three new edits, it would be nice to get a slate fog, slate underwater, and slate prairie.

Slate Swamp, with waist-high-ish murky water and random grass particles emerging throughout, also with a low fog throughout it. Would be awesome for a floating-type chinese connected building build.

Im gonna avoid the use of grass in it, whenever I included grass in slate twilight, it pissed lots of people off :P
