Author Topic: V11 Changes?  (Read 2341 times)

I had said something about this in a V11 topic, but everybody said nothing had changed. I've noticed three things that seem to be different:

• Falling damage is now raised (You can jump off of a 32x32 cube and survive)
• Fire and jet emitters seem different
• Emitters now scale with the brick

Then what in the world is wrong with my computer? Or Blockland itself? The falling damage is very annoying, and the flames/water don't look like flames/water anymore.

EDIT: I'm going to compare before and after, I might post pictures.

AFTER:

Sorry I don't have a jet emitter for before, but it is different. As you can see the V11 emitters are more spaced out.

Check 'Options'. Make sure your Quality options are at, or above High.

List of changes.
And I think the emitter 'scaling' with bricks is this one:

Added PointEmitterNode setting on emitter datablocks - used when a particle emitter is used on a 1x1 brick (avoids performance problems with grass emitters on 1x1 bricks)

you mean how the emitter covers the whole brick (if its bigger than 1x1) instead of the centre?

that came out ages ago

Your settings are on a crap setting.

No. And thanks Tails, I fixed it by selecting Best in two options.

What about the falling damage, though?

I see what you did there...

• Falling damage is now raised (You can jump off of a 32x32 cube and survive)
You could always do that.

Really? Well how do you change the min. falling damage?

Thanks for your help guise.

not really, that came out in v10, that was not "ages" ago, thats just how long we have had to wait for v11
