-A thread to chronicle the evolution of my building style and basically how awesome I am-
For those of you wanting to emulate how awesome I am, this is the definitive guide of most of the stuff I've built and almost all of the styles I've came up with.
-Early Imperialism

History:This is how I built when I first got Blockland. Hints of my later styles are evident, such as the excessive use of ramps and lack of color (bottom two pictures were corrupted by misuse of color sets.
Defining characteristics:- Brick/Mortar style wall design
- Blocky structure with ramps surrounding most of the build
-Late Imperialism
History:Emerging from my building shell, this is one of the only builds using this style. While it stuck to a rather blocky style, it maintained a black/white/accent color scheme. With very efficient use of space and a compact design, this wasn't one of my more popular, but definitely better, styles.
Defining Characteristics:- Black/White
- Elements decorating the facade and roof area
-Modernistic Imperialism

History:By far one of my most used styles, it has drawn controversy and praise alike. It is somewhat similar to the late imperialism style, but instead of elements decorating the facade the entire facade is comprised of these elements. For example, the Sirrus compound is a collection of several buildings made out of different styles of walls. The only possible exceptions would be the range (an early imperialistic building) and the admin tower (a neo-conservative-imperialistic building). It maintains the black and white imperial look of the two previous styles, but makes the facade much more interesting.
Defining Characteristics:- Almost solidly black/white
- Ramps compose most of the facade
Neo-Conservative-Imperialism
History:The New-Conservative-Imperialistic style builds both on the late imperialism style and the modernistic version of the aforementioned. It takes the slightly more boxy style of the late-imperialism style but refines it with built-in elements of the modernistic approach.
Defining Characteristics:- Tighter look than the Modernistic Imperialism, but more refined than the late imperialism but still containing the same structure type.
- Black/White
-Neo Surrealism

History:Throwing out almost all of the elements of the previous builds, Neo-Surrealism uses very fluid elements comprised mostly out of ramps. It does away with certain architectural consistencies and uses a very fluid, somewhat colorful building style that's easy to get lost in, both walking around and looking at.
Defining Characteristics- Doesn't necessarily have to have an abundance of color, but most builds do.
- Doesn't hold much consistency, except for within in it's own style. Uses plenty of ramps, incredibly space efficient and doesn't use many duplicated patterns throughout the entire build.
So there, that's like all you need to know about me and my builds.
