My DS that I gave to my little brother he brought everywhere and went from a snowy color to a gritty off-white.

Plus the DSi is new and shiny.

Please leave this topic. The DSi is worth the extra so please stop whining.

I doubt I'd get a DSi if I had a DS lite both in good outward appearance and working condition.

Explain how me buying a system to play the exact same games is "worth the extra". I got a DS to play games. This DSi is not going to improve these games. Instead, it's tacking on an extra quarter-inch to the screen and two 0.3 megapixel cameras.

The interior camera kind of implies that the camera is going to be used for games, I think.

Like the Eye Toy on the old Playstation.

Because the EyeToy was so successful.

On one hand, the dsi is cool and has a camera and gb games(we think at least)

On the other hand, I have a GBC and a camera and there's a gamestop nearby that has stuffloads of GBC games.

Erm... Im in the dark here apparently, what is a DSI?

To Google!

gta China town wars looks really cool actually, we don't get stuff like that on the iphone, yet.

I'm getting one, I'll still have my Ds-lite.

Iphone isn't a real gaming platform. Motion controls are gimmicky and imprecise, the Iphone screen is so small relative to my thumbs and forefingers that touch controls are difficult for things involving accuracy, and no usable physical buttons make the whole thing suck for anything more than casual waiting-for-something gaming.

I really would rather have a GBA than an Ipod Touch or Iphone when it comes to gaming. Now, the Iphone far outshines the DSi simply because once you quit out of your gimmicky game, you can do so many things with your Iphone that it totally justifies owning one.

No im pretty sure one cpu is for ds games and the other is for gba, Thats why dsi don't need 2.
The other is for both GBA and 2D DS games.
