Author Topic: Windows boot up assistance needed.  (Read 560 times)

I decided to get rid of windows 7. And being me i delete its partition.

But its boot selection screen is still there, I have checked the boot file and theres no sight of anything to do with windows 7, I have also tried setting its timeout to 0, But it still shows the screen.

Now, Help. :D

WHAT
YOU GOT RID OF WINDOWS 7?!
:(

Anyway, what are you trying to remove the selectrion from? GRUB or the actual Windows boot selector?

if I remember correctly you have to put in your Windows disk and go to the recovery console and reset the MBR.

I also need help with this. I installed winXP on a school computer due to silly admin stuff. However, I need to get it off, so if anyone know a way to get rid of this without having admin on the computer thanks. I don't feel like digging up my Winxp disk and reinstalling.
