Motor Storm; HyperSpeed?

     I was playing MotorStorm about 55 minutes ago when I was struggling to finish the race, so out of some strange Idea, i decided to tap the Boost button (X) simultaniously and in about 10 seconds I was going litterly 4 times as fast as everyone else on the track. Also I was at the last notch of boost, and after about 20 seconds of tapping, My vehicle exploded because it over heated.

I kept tapping it REALLY fast. So fast, I went into hyperspeed.

I thought Nitrous DID make you go fast, And last time i checked, vehicles exploded because they overheated. Are you serious dude, This thread is handicapped. What i hear is that your supprised Nitro made you go fast and overusing it blew ur vehicle up... -.-

I DIDN'T hold the button down though, I tapped it rapily, and when I did it seemed that I was going at really fast speed after about 10 seconds.

That was a very old cheap exploit where tapping X would not fill up our boost meter and greatly increase your speed.. they also fixed that like a year ago.  When have you last updated it?

I haven't updated it at all.

also, it keep you at the last prevous speed.
so say i used up a ton of Boost to go fast, then I start tapping X. it'll keep at a speed around there.
