So what happens if I set my clock to April second of the year before repetetively? Think it'll still go off eventually?
That was actually in one of the articles, if you read it.

It can't not activate on April 1st, unless no internet.
Yeah, it'll still activate on April 2.

OH forget TOMARROW IS APRIL 1ST ARM THE CALVARY.

My computer is doing extremely stubborn things, so I'm taking this as a sign that something's awry. See you all when it's over, hopefully.

Remember:
Microsoft is offering a quarter of a million dollars for the head of the douchebag who created conficker.

He means one quater from a million dollars.

i quick scaned and went through at least 15 hours of a full scan, and thank god my computer doesn't have anything

I really don't want to get cluster-forgeted by this thing, so I really want to know how to get rid of it. I tried to find how to, and all of those particular sites won't load. Anyone? Please? D;

What is the file it's stored in named?[

Dane Cook rules.

A lot of people are saying that this is just a hoax, but if you're unsure, and wish to download some protection, I found a few links to programs that will remove the virus:

Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=AD724AE0-E72D-4F54-9AB3-75B8EB148356&displaylang=en

F-Secure removal utility: ftp://193.110.109.53/anti-virus/tools/beta/f-downadup.zip

McAfee's removal tool: http://67.97.80.71/vil/conficker_stinger/Stinger_Coficker.exe

I'm running Malwarebytes right now, it's one of the things an article on Conficker said to do. When it's done, I'm gonna run everything else I have to defend myself.

*Puts on helmet*

Also, one of the articles says to rename stuff with Conficker in the name, as the virus might deflect it when you run it.
