I'm quite certain my computer has it now. Not sure how that came about, but I'm doing everything possible to remove it before it activates.

Go start task manager, then click on processes and end the ones that say Host.exe

Or go to micrsoft.com and see if it works, if it doesn't you have the virus

April 1st in what timezone?

Its been april 1st for 3 hours here. And im sure packer is already in or near the 2nd.

SVCHost.exe is a standard systems process that is used to connect to the internet for startup programs and whatnot. Not something to be worried about.

Go to a stuffload of anti-virus sites. If you can not connect to most of them, your screwed.

As with every virus that you get, research and pop-ups.

Opening friends folders that they send you, not meaning they meant to send it; just that they are infected and dont know. Also using other peoples networks you can get it.

Leaving a virus scan and a Malware scan on overnight. Along with ad awares realtime protection and spybots too.
