Simple build, still awesome.

Awesome build. I love the use of the Chrome effect for the frosted trees. Keep up the good stuff!

oh is that what its called?
Yep, here's the wiki:
Quote from: Wikipedia
The Knarr is the norse term for ships that were built for Atlantic voyages. They were cargo ships with a length of about 54 feet (16m), a beam of 15 feet (4.5m), and a hull capable of carrying up to 24 tons. Knarrs routinely crossed the North Atlantic centuries ago carrying livestock and stores to Greenland. The vessel also influenced the design of the cog, used in the Baltic Sea by the Hanseatic League.

Smaller Vessels
The Karve was a Viking ship unlike the longships, with a length of 70 feet (20m), a 17-foot (5m) beam, 16 oars, and a draft of about 3 feet (1m). The Faering was a small boat resembling a dinghy used to travel up and down rivers.

Thank you all for your comments!

Absolutely mind-splintering. Maybe you could make a continuation where it has supposed water, and maybe make a Knarr that can lead out of a small bay? 10/10 all the way.

A Longship/Warship is actually the next project. Afterwards, I plan to make a full Viking fortress, with a possible fishing village down shore.

Ghoul, amazing as usual. I'm disappointed to have not seen you on my server in a while. :(

Awesome indeed.

I can't wait to see a full fortress.

Did you get the Idea from Vyrkul?

The Vyrkul from WoW, yes, partially. I did have a slight interest in that sort of thing before the expansion came out, though.

I really like the style of building. Also, nice original idea.

Random Fact
Norse religion taught that humans came from the armpit sweat of the gods.

GREAT build!
i cant wait for the rest of it.

Damn, I built my 2 story house too close to vikings ranch.
It's simple, realistic but yet blocko enough. I give it 9.2.

My dad's from iceland, and so i think you made a wise choice in the longhouse. but would'nt they live near the coast seeing as vikings traveled from iceland in ships, they would need to stay near where they docked, so no one would steal their ship.good job in all!
