I like the general shape and form of the lower portions, but it could easily do with a nose-job. MAking it longer, but keeping the blocko will make it a 9/10 in my book.

Those are solid rocket boosters.

It looks good, but the boosters(big white things) are attached to the main fuel pod(big orange thing), not the Space Shuttle

This can be seen in the picture above^

The boosters are also too short compared to the fuel pod
