If I were Badspot, or any creator of a game, I would like all good contributions to the game because people actually took time to make them.

The spot has mentioned a few times that he don't like to use many mods. And that most people should play plain blockland more.
But the modability is what makes the game good. So he must encourage it a little.

If you wanted to make a mod that he loved tons. Make one that would just have your game port forworded without any effort. Just enable mod and bam, all set.

Badspot said that it is possible to make such program once I asked him.
Just a note: The program doesn't forward your ports, but makes you not need to do it. At least this is how I understood it.
