Fallout 3 Scary?

Well i just got fallout 3 and i watched some videos and im wondering if mutants jump out of nowhere and chomp of your head because i just got out of vault 101 and im outside and i stoped playin so tell me if its pop-out mutants or there always a little infront of you

It's only scary because enemies tend to attack you from back.

The Scaryness-o-meter of Fallout 3 (something I came up with lol) really depends on your maturity and something like Courage-on-virtual-stuff-o-meter (now I have an headache X_X).


And for me it isn't scary at all.
It's just frustrating because of the constant crashes on the PC version. x_X

You should use that targeting system every 5 mins or so, its saved my ass so many times and I can see where thoes stuff scary ghouls are in the darkness.

Every now and then it has an "oh forget" moment, but nothign too big. What really got me once was I was traveling through some tunnles and found one of those hanging grenade things. I looked around to make sure no one was there and went over to disable it. When I was done I got up and turned around and this huge-ass dog was jumping at my face. I almost screamed xP
