Author Topic: I'm So Old Fashioned (Interesting for Fallout 3 fans)  (Read 2287 times)

This past Saturday I was given an antique record player/stereo. It was built by my late grandfather (who died before my time) in the mid-sixties. Surprisingly, it still performs perfectly, but the only records I got along with it were Johnny Cash and the Star Wars soundtrack.

Today I stopped by a local antique store and dug through a bunch of old records, and found two things of interest: Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit In The Sky", and "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire."

This last song is pretty much the theme song for Fallout 3, and I consider it a gem. It's a bit scratchy, but It still sounds beautiful...  and haunting. Also, it was 25¢.

Spirit in the Sky is awesome.

Oh, and nope.

I wish Fallout 3 had a soundtrack, it's got epic old musics :<

Anyone heard the Butcher Pete one? :D This one to be exact:

I heard it playing on a radio out in the Wastelands on the way to Rivet City.

If your pre-ordered fallout 3 you got a free soundtrack disk.

That song really creeps me out for some reason.

Same here, and I love it for that. I've been jamming to it, haha.

I loved the trailers for Fallout 3 and Bioshock cause they both have catchy oldies songs. Btw which game of those two should I buy? Lulz

Fallout. Bioshock is a one-time play and is much, much shorter.
