Spawn menu does not work in Gmod

For the oddest reason I can not get it to pop up in other's servers but it works fine in mine.

The first damn thing should not be to reinstall. If it was that simple I would have done it already. The problem is that I would rather not lose my cfg or cashe and have to deal with download times again.

This reminds me of when my Score Board did not work, i reinstalled, and didn't back up anything, i just reinstalled with a whole new Gmod, i thought it may have been something i installed...

Anyway, have you gotten any GUI Skins or any kind of mod that changes something that has to do with the Spawn Menu maybe?

Yes but I then deleted them out of dislike. This happened long before any of this started. I first saw that this started on storeclerk's server. I thought it was just his but then later today I went on Pload's and could not open it up. I have been down to only tools which go into the console as Tool_<tool>

Or, instead of assuming everyone's wrong your right, try playing WITHOUT the backed up data, and then copy and paste the backed up data.

That addon you installed could have interfered with the main spawn menu when removed. Just take a look at the Data folder and see what's in it.

I would also suggest clearing the cache. It's no big deal.

It's either reinstall, or remove individual addons until it's fixed.

The data folder contains nothing but a bunch of logs for my admin mod, E2 saves, Adv. Dup saves, and a bit of other stuff

As for the Cashe, do I include the Dua folder or just delete what is inside. Nothing besides that inside it?

I found in garrysmod\settings\spawnlist that there is a bunch of text files that look like they include info on props and stuff. It seems a bit small considering I would have stuff about spacebuild and other things in there.



EDIT: Cleared the cashe and nothing worked.

The answer to the question was assmod. For some reason I think pload's downloading of moocow interfered with it.
