I KNOW there is another topic about this but it's to old to bump so I figure I'd start another one.

Oblivion, discuss.

Not as good as Fallout 3, but still awesome.

I made a Acrobat called Ballian :D He's awesome at stealth bowshooting.

Fallout 3 is much easier than Oblivion. They are both great though. In Oblivion you pretty much have to plan out your entire leveling scheme to be good end game. Which is why it's difficult. None of the pre-made classes at the start are capable of giving you max stats in all stats, from what I've read and from my own experience.

I haven't played in a while, but I might try to level up my old paladin some more.

It always make me laugh a little when people talk about how they got to level 20 or something in Oblivion, I played through the entire game and never got above level 3. That includes all the side quests to like the Dark brotherhood, the arena, etc.

Never really felt like grinding. The leveling system was a poor design choice I believe.

Morrowind's better.
Maybe if you like having to whack at rat 9 times to get one hit to land when you start the game, and putting up with the AWFUL voice acting, the dark elves sound like they all have lung cancer.

I see someone likes games that start as fast as it ends. :/

A game should be fun from start to end, Morrowind is not.

I find it fun in the beginning.

I find it fun in the beginning.

Holding down the mouse for a minute straight to kill a single enemy is fun?

/darkfall obsession

Ever hear of darkfall? it is similar to oblivion, its computer only, and it

cons: takes up 9GB
15$ a month
extremely realistic in the ways of
•huge world
•when you die, you lose all your stuff, full loot
•looting is click and drag, manual stack

pros:
extremely realistic (see above)
fun

/end of obsession statement

Oblivion is a game that's full of glitches where ever you go, But damn is it fun :D

Hehe, I just installed it for a 3rd play.

This time around, I installed Oscuro's Oblivion Overhaul, the only mod you'll ever need.

It's amazing. It get's rid of the stuffty level scaling, adds more content including creatures, factions (though not joinable) and weapons like off-hand staves, new armor sets, and several other things.

i keep falling under the floor in the sewers

but you can't dual-wield properly, as in attack with your off-hand sword
