I have tried twice to go on his server and request that he give credit for the build, and he was AFK each time. I'll keep trying, but for now I have this topic.

Seriously, why is making a topic about this considered childish? It's the freakin' drama boards.

The drama boards themselves are often 'childish'. If you haven't noticed, most of them get turned back onto the topic starter, not because of routine, but because of what everyone believes is right. You're complaining that he photocopied your picture, gave you the original copy, and then scribbled all over his copy. Doesn't matter if he claims it, let him have all the glory if you truly mean what you said:

Sonic said he helped on it, I knew it was yours. I'll ban him if he tells me again that he made it.

Exactly. Besides, this didn't really backfire, I was just told to "grow up" multiple times, then Sniper posted some stupid picture like he knew exactly what was going on. Even if it turned out to be really bad, why should I care?

Okay, I agree. That's a good point.

However, I still think that you see things in black and white when you say that if I still want credit for it, I want to "win a popularity contest", and if I don't, then I'm just there to increase my building skills. I think there's more to it than that. While I still want credit for my work, I also want to increase my building skills and have a good time, but I don't really care about any popularity of fame that comes with that.

Thanks. I'm glad you caught that right away. I was told that he claimed he made it because he was in one of the screenshots that I took...

I also still don't understand why people continue to believe that he didn't claim it was his...but oh well, it doesn't really matter anyways.

Overall, this has taught me a valuable lesson:

Put your name in your builds. Preferably in multiple places.

and

Don't serve ice cream at a hockey game.

I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about Sonic. It just so happens that your server was the one he got to load it on.

EDIT: Oh, looks like I messed that up in the quotes. Sorry about that, I wasn't thinking. When I said Sniper, I meant to say Sonic. Sorry excuse, I know, but it was my bad.

All I did was add a neutral capture point in the middle. Get over the fact that I 'ruined' a mediocre build.

Okay, just talked with Sniper on my server, we came to a resolution. He now (presumably) has a save with my name and ID prominently displayed, and we both agreed that it isn't that big of a deal in the first place. Thank you, Sniper, for cooperating with me on this and letting us come to a compromise.

Issue resolved.
