uhh if i mute microphone i cant use my microphone anymore :P


I think I may have had this problem, but I forget what I did to fix it.

My friend, the cords in your mic got mixed up, cut, or tangled.

You'll need a new mic.
I've tried two different headsets its not the headsets.

Anyway, Jess, muting the mic in playback would stop it from coming out of your speakers/headphones.  Also make sure that your input is the mic and not stereo/mono mix


How do you know it's not good if you only read half of it?

Because I knew it wouldn't work half way.


No he does not need a new mic, i am pretty sure that what i suggested will fix the problem, if jess is using XP.

If you mute it in the way I suggested, its only being muted from playing through your speakers/headphones. Thats why you have to select "playback" and not "recording" before muting.
