Is a Boat Vehicle Still Being Worked On?

Yes, I used search. I found the fail speedboat, the airboat, which is cool but not what I'm looking for, and about 20 topics with the same layout:

Then, a bunch of other people come in.

Person 1: Nitramtj's working on one. Lock this nao.
Person 2: What he said.

Requester: Umm guys you said that 10 months ago and he still hasn't released it!

 So, I ask you all, who has a working boat and is planning to release it sometime in the next year?

Badspot recommended using the horse with a different model.

If you do make a boat vehicle, don't make it a vehicle, make it a player type like the horse (Why Badspot suggested it). This is because although you can make vehicles float (Skis, toboggan)  they are jerky and bounce out of the water easily. But player types don't.

no silly, if it were a player type, how would we get OUT of the boats? Unless of course you mean a BOT sort of thing, such as the horse, being a player type and vehicle.

I said in my post that it would be like the horse, and I know boats are jerky, but it might be TOO jerky and like fling you out of the water, then again.... it'd be easier to make then the horse... you just have to make the density less than that of water, 1.

He won't. Last time I talked to him, which was like 2 years ago, he said he wanted to make a propeller animation. Next day, he told me he scrapped it.

I got so mother loving pissed off, because he could've just released the speed script, and when I tested it in his server it was alright enough to get a release. Made me majorly sad :< But worst of all, he's like completely died off of the forums so we can't try and get a hold of it :<
