Wow, I remember when zezima was #1.
Now it appears to be "Gertjaars"
I remember too.

My name's Sharkman506 (don't ask) And I'm level 64.

I don't get what makes it generic when compared to everything else.

By skills I mean press F2 to do a Fire Slash or something along those lines

And I guess it isn't exactly generic... It lacks some of the things other generic MMO's have. Runescape has:

point and click combat system
point and click skills system

Other MMO's have:

p + c combat system
p + c skills system
Special skills

i tried to condense it into those things, but i could go further saying

Runescape has:
runes for magic
crossbows
swords
daggers

etc.

maybe zezima got a life?

Or quit.

If you really play runescape enough to be number 1 ALL THE TIME (except that one day that the hunting skill came out, zezima was in 2nd place, but then in a matter of like 45 minutes, he pulled back to first), then quitting is the same thing as getting a life

Bolded so it is easier to tell the difference between parentheses text and regular text

I used to Play Runescape, I was known as Yorktown3, and level 84, and yet i quited, it was fun.

I still play every now and then, but its not as fun anymore.
Level 36.

i enjoy the quests. there are a stuffload and they add one like every 2 weeks

Wasn't Zezima some gay Jagex test or some crap?

I always thought that zezima was a jagex member, but I added him to my friend list and there was no crown by his name

they were pretty fun... forgetin monkey madness i could never beat!

then i got hacked, and the hacker got me a stuffload of money and stuff, i got one of those whip things, and all these dragon items, and he got my magic to like 80.

Playing runescape brings back memories...

I'm currently going on a search for an MMO that involves fishing, farming, building stuff, and living off the land. Basically RuneScape WAS that game, but eventually everyone got greedy and turned that game into a money making scheme.

Tell me the name of it when you find it!

Tell me the name of it when you find it!

I'm looking on the MMORPG list and 97% of all of these games are WoW clones, 2% are stuffty free FPS like Combat arms, and Crossfire, and the other %1 are like RTS's

Wurm online is exactly what I want but it doesn't work for some reason.

/darkfall obsession

Darkfall, of course!

You have hunger, that gets your living off the land need.

You can fish, and you can build cities and empires.

List of best features:

Full loot
PvP
No restrictions (to extent of player vs. player and player vs. monster)
Steal or kill mounts or players at ANY TIME
Build cities and empires, and build cannons to defend them
Build ships with cannons and siege machines to take over castes.
Become a crafter, and repair others items for a cost
Chose from one of the six races, each having their own alliances and abilities
NO player level system, based purely on skills learned from NPC's or a real player!
No more being a newb, the only way people can tell if you are new is from your clothing, armor, and weapons, and how good you are with your weapon
No more point and click style battle, you have to actually AIM your bow, sword, or spell in order to hit. You can also defend with your shield.

Cons:
Full loot
PvP any time
Leveling system still applies to the skills you learn
9GB file
(could be bad:) no North America servers atm, but you can still play EU servers
monthly cost 15$ per month (D:)

Could you show me that list of mmo's?

edit: Wow, Wurm looks amazing, although it sounds familiar, and if it is the game I am thinking, it lagged like hell, too much so for me to play.

That's why I will never get used to any other MMORPG. :(

I like Runes of Magic, but I can never decide on a class. I deleted about 10 characters so far due to me always choosing.

That's why I like Runescape. You can do anything.
