Author Topic: Paint Projectile/Emitter  (Read 731 times)

You all know about the FX cans emitters, but what about regualr paint emitters/projectiles? It would act as a normal paint-can, and could color people, vehicles, etc.

I made a regular paint emitter for my server which recolours with the brick it's put on, but it doesn't work for transparent colours due to something in the engine where it's treated as a standard colour. (Trans Orange which normally looks yellow-ish will appear just orange)

I like this, instead of painting, it could be used for a mist. Whichreminds me, I want some denser versions of Smoke B and smoke C. alos a less dense version of smoke A.

I know, but I still think that little detriment shouldn't prevent something like this being made.
Or released.......;)

For the world to see.

I'm thinking of including it with some sort of pack of the default 'tool' particles given names (sort of like the FX Cans pack - no new datablocks!), as this wasn't included in v11 even though the change log said it should have been.

- Hammer Spark
- Hammer Dust
- Printer Fire
- Wrench Oil
- Wrench Hut
- Wand Idle, Attack, Explosion
- Admin Wand Idle, Attack, Explosion
- FX Can - Paint
- FX Can - Paint Bubble
- FX Can - Paint Droplet
- Brick Fire
- Brick Hit
- Player Teleport A (more erratic/spread than the camera emitter)

Anything else you think it needs?
