Irony

While watching Death Note, I saw a commercial for a national stroke association.  (For those who didn't know, in Death Note the main character kills people by heart attacks)

Anyone have other misc. ironic stories to share? I love irony.

That's not what the show is about and that is not ironic. A stroke isn't a heart attack either.

It is the main way the book kills people. :o Besides I didn't feel like going into great detail, and considering the timing and the chance of it happening I'd say it was ironic.

EDIT: Though you have a point with the "stroke isn't the same as a heart attack" bit.

Irony is when the outcome is the opposite or contradictory of what you expected. I guess it could have been ironic if he was expecting no commercials what-so-ever.
