I think Badspot should make the Single player demo, Full game, and a new idea for him.
Half demo, half full; Half demo.

-You can build 500 or 1000 bricks (details below).

- Your name is always [Name(guest)]
So it'd look like:

 Sabbin (guest)

-You CAN go online, it costs $5 (500 bricks) or $10 (1000 bricks)

-This is only an idea for people who cannot afford $20 (which may be sad).

I say keep it how it is.

Just increase the brick count, people would feel more of a need to complete what they're building in demo, and more money for Eric! :D

First thing i thought was Nexon Game Cards...

That's pretty much like paying for a capped limit. In my opinion, it'll lead to paying for bricks somehow.

It's fine right now. 150 bricks is just about enough to sample all the fine aspects of Blockland.

Many servers I and other people run do not require users to build bricks at all for minigames and deathmatches.

The demo version lets you test if you can run the game and playtest some of its features. You do not need to make massive builds or play online to do this - if you want those features, then you have to buy the game.

150 bricks = $0
500 bricks = $5
1000 bricks = $10
128,000 bricks = $20

Doesn't seem fair, keep it how it is.

Maybe just a 20 min online demo? I mean it would allow you to play online for 20 mins. Once you use it up, you couldn't go online, but you could still do the regular single player. Also, bricks would still be limited. That way player's get an idea for how servers work.
