Hi, I'm thinking about joining Blockland.

I play a similar game which, I will not state. They say Blockland is this place full of lying, stealing, inconsiderate jerks. Well, I wanted to see for myself. What's good about Blockland? :)

Heh, I tried to make it obvious. I linked to Roblox my first post and was auto-banned. I had to PM Badspot and wait a while... Also, I NEVER said you stole anything. The lower class of Roblox did. Alot of robloxians play Blockland too, just the mature players. If you'd like to meet some of them. They go to Robloxhq.com, a site run by an intern for roblox.

Nah, well kinda. When you get the game you can launch your own server after port forwarding, or you can join someones server

there are a ton of options that you can do, Death matches, zombies, regular building, CTF's etc.

Blockland uses TGE Torque engine. It's more advanced scripting language then Lua's from what i've heard. But yea Add-Ons are possible as well.

Think of it as a first person shooter kind of server. If you've ever played TF2, Counter Strike, or other things like that, you'll get the idea.
You make a server, and can build in the server, at the same time as others join and build also.

It uses the torque engine with a slightly modded version of C++ called torque script. While it is not as easy to learn as Lua, it has much greater capabilities.

I suggest looking at the Gallery section to see what people have built, also look at the Add-ons and Maps sections. There are a lot of great builds, add-ons and maps, they should give you a pretty good impression about what blockland is about.

And for community, posting on the forums is good, might be a bit different on an online server though.

Whats good about Blockland is that... you can make adds-on maps... but I dont know how... Blockland just has a little lag... not a lot only if you have no connection... You dont have to wait for all the bricks... just the adds-on. If you been to that place and you finished the adds-on... YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT ANYMORE :D How great is that? I played roblox... I had fully good connection... and it said you have lost connection. Dont know why. Blockland you can view all the players...EVEN WHEN YOU ARE STUCK!!! You can even build outside!!! If you were building and was stuck on roblox... you could only build inside. I was once a really member until I found blockland... and I was going to play it. It was really awesome... so I only play ROBLOX a little. "If that was you were mentioning to not tell." For Blockland it doesn't have a virus. Roblox... when you want to build a model... YOU HAVE TO BE A MEMBER!!! Blocklan... Nah. Just buy it, "Atleast I think so," then you can build adds-on, "Meaning= Models," so yeah... I know a lot about to games. But for blockland you cant have friends... Roblox you can. On Roblox Furoms a little people replys to your thread. That happened to me. So I found so many games I couldn't stop playing all of them. Blockland is simmuler, "Sorry, 9 years old dont even know how to spell it..." to Roblox. So... you can test blockland Demo. Oh forgot to mention about that... but you might be tired of reading my long reply. Any questions mssg me/ message me.
