You could always check Windows Firewall to make sure it's not blocked, and possibly restart your router.

Windows Firewall isn't doing anything and restarting my router also did nothing

LAN's are only for Local Area Networks.

I know what it means but Hamachi lets people anywhere connect to your LAN network. I believe that Badspot disabled Hamachi use because of full game exploits however.
