Author Topic: Strange keys/buttons on your keyboards.  (Read 3140 times)

I got a Zboard a while back, it was the worst 30 bucks I ever spent. Sticky keys, messed up buttons, and all together a piece of stuff.

I still use it for my desktop, mostly because I'm too lazy/poor to go out and get a new keyboard. I will agree it is horrible.

I have a hibernate button, My Computer button, Recycle Bin button, Previous*, Next*, Stop*, Play/Pause*, Mute, Volume, CD drive(?), Email, and Browser/Homepage.

*For Media Players obviously.

I went ahead and played with it. Turns out the button that looks like a trash can is calculator, CD Drive opens Windows Media Player and the Browser/Homepage button does go to my homepage.

I used to have one of those novelty "Oh stuff!" keys in the place of the end key.

My power button on my keyboard is place right beside my backspace : D..... : (

I have Media Controls on my Keyboard (Play, Next Song, Previous song, Stop)

My laptop's keyboard has a Fn key, which enables keys like Page Up, Right Arrow, etc, i've yet to find a way to get the number pad working...

Hover over the characters to see what it is
7 8 9 0
U I O P
J K L ;
M , . /

Holding Fn and hitting L will do Page Down, holding Fn, Alt and L will do ♥, holding Fn, Shift and L will do Page Down while selecting stuff

Holding Fn and Esc will toggle the volume on and off, as for the F keys, i have all the same things as tails up to F9, except he has no F2 showing, my F2 has a bulb on it, F10 has a square with for arrows pointing four different ways (up right down and left), F11 has a square with what seems to look like a number pad, F12 has a square with an up arrow on the left and a down arrow on the right in it

On one of my wireless keyboards I have an "F Lock" key.

What about the little uncontrolable scrolly things on some laptop keyboards?

See the little blue thing?

If you mean a numpad that's usually other keys, try FN + Delete. That's what it is on mine.

Do want

Also, the nob on laptop keyboards is what I grew up on. They're perfectly useful >:(

True.

But sometimes it forgets up and the cursor keeps moving.
