yo, is it possible for some body to make a lance that moves forward and back instead of up-down or when u hit the attack button the lance stays forward and u can just run into anybody and hurt them. Great for jousting or places with horses.

um... i guess that would be a good idea but only for jousting. Actually it might be a good idea. I'll get started on the model. I will need a scripter though!!

it'd look like ur attacking straight but you'd still be attacking in regularly. thats how the engine works

So you're saying you want a lance that can be used in a stabbing sort of motion? And can automatically cause damage when it hits in the "attack"position? That WOULD be pretty good, for sending that Black Knight straight to hell...

yeah a stabbing motion. no slashing. when you hit the attack button it should lunge forward and you should be able to hurt anyone u hit with it

well hopefully some-one could make a better one, but i don't recall every seeing a lance being made on the forums ever

Here is my model of the lance. It is as good as i could do in short notice. I am making a v2. Needs sizing and scripting.

I tryed to get SeventhSandwich to model one out for me, but he never got around to it (I probably would never be able to script it real good either). Then someone came out with a lance with other rpg items, but it failed in my opinion, It was black and probably just had the pushbroom script. I hope this will be finished.
