fool around with the missle elevator and the 3 strange pods. They should open up and release posion headcrabs. Then combines will flood into the church and a helicopter will shoot you. Then you go outside and destroy the copter.

The full game is ten times better. I just beat it yesterday and am starting on episode 2 today.

I wish I knew the order to play the games. I have Half life 2, Half life 2 edpisode one, episode two and lost coast.

None of the Half Life 2 games end by a coast, and none of the Half Life 2 games starts at a coast, so play Lost Coast when you want?

FYI: Lost Coast isn't a game, it's a developer commentary map.

You can play most custom maps in it without them breaking, though.

You need help in Lost Coast?

Go up the hill, fight some combines, go into the building, remove the sheath on the pounder, shove something in there to break it (I think a grenade), go out, fight some more combines, pew pew at the helicopter with rockets, go back down the mountain and you teleport back.

Also, I just lost the game.

Lost Coast at highway 17, then go by the numbers, durr hurr.

Lost Coast at highway 17
It's not a campaign level. Like I said, commentary.

Best tip to playing any game. If it moves, shoot it. If it does not die. Shoot it some more. If it persist, beat your self up for wasting ammo. Also another great tip. Do not die.

It was gonna be one but they had to cut it

If you want lore order, stop playing HL2 about half way though highway 17 and then play it

Release order? right after HL2

It was gonna be one but they had to cut it

It was part of a separate chapter, and playing it in conjunction with Highway 17 offers no storyline expansion. It's (both literally and figuratively) and island. There is no storyline binding it to Half-Life, it's irrelevant.

You're best off playing Lost COast with the commentary. It's interesting and pretty much tells you what to do next.

Also Lost Coast is not part of the Storyline.
