Author Topic: "Press to crouch" problem? (Read 6142 times)

Has anyone ever had the "Press to crouch" problem in the tutorial? I know it happens but I cannot fathom how to duplicate it.

The problem is that they just don't have a key bound to crouch, but with the default controls pop-up I don't see how that's possible. If you have any insight into this please post it.

Do you mean like when they press crouch and it gets stuck in crouch mode?
Or when you cannot crouch when you press the key?

Those are the only crouch problems I've seen before.

You could do a check on blockland's start up that makes sure all the important functions are keybinded? :o

Yes, I can in fact duct-tape the problem but I would like to find out wtf you people are doing to my game.

75% of people are using it to build, 15% are trying to make it free ware, and the other %10 are being stupid on it.

why would ladios be so curious? :P

i dont see how a map can mess up game controls or whatever.
just bad timing when he had issues. put 2 and 2 together and the last new thing he could have done was installed the maps.

- Start game
- Options->Controls
- Double-Click "Crouch"
- Press Backspace to clear
- Start Tutorial
- "Press to crouch"

Restarting the game gives me no default controls pop-up when I do that.

Someone trying to bind "LSHIFT" or whatever to a different key could cause it?

I played the Tutorial level 4 - 5 times and have had no problem :o
