Missiles will be fairly simple: Left click fires 1 missile every 5 seconds, press Spacebar and they all fire in quick succession with some spread (something like 1 missile every half second), but then it takes something like a minute and a half to reload them all for another barrage. You'd still be able to fire one every 5 seconds but you'd probably need to wait a small bit afterwards (cooldown/reload), so something like 10 seconds until you can fire anything right after a barrage. Doesn't seem long but when you'd be fighting something like a tank every second would count.
Also this vehicle would be more or less intended for long range artillery since it's going to be a bit flimsy, so you can forget about going toe to toe with a tank. Of course a tank far away fighting this vehicle would also be pretty disadvantageous for the tank, unless the tank operators can get a few hits in fast enough. The vehicle's rockets will deal a bucketload of splash damage so taking cover quickly would be advised (thermal blast rockets), this will further prompt players riding using this vehicle to try to fight things at a distance otherwise they'll scorch themselves along with their enemies. It will also encourage players to bring an extra buddy along as a passenger to help deal with any enemy foot soldiers that get too close.
Not too sure about the whole MLRS vs MLRS thing yet, since technically they could murder each other depending on who would get the first rocket in regardless of situation. I'll think about that.
Anyhow model is almost done, just gotta figure out a few things for the wheels and that will be it. I was thinking doing some IFLs for the tracks and animating the individual wheels (quite possible), then maybe making the wheels more compound and adding individual springs for each, on top of that making the tracks themselves also more springy (doubt this will happen). Currently without wheels I'm at 3000 faces, I don't think I'd be able to cut it back any more then that unfortunately.
