The whole thing with the randomly sized rocks is that in the wilderness you go with what you've got.  Can't be picky and look for rocks of the same size.
I totally felt the same way when i built mine(great minds think alike!)

edit--
it is done(left out sticks because absolutions sticks are better and should go in the middle of my rock circle, if you use it)

I'm gonna go ahead and say that looks terrible.

ok input is fine, i'm a novice so that was my try.

Yeah, I like Absolution's better, but I don't really like his rocks. I'd like them better if they were a little smaller. Please :D

Your right, it does look better with smaller rocks.

Smaller or no?  I'll start working on the oil lantern now.

That's good, try to use shaper to export it, it doesn't need anything special.

The problem is I can't get it to shaper.  It doesn't take any of the formats I can export it as.  I might be able to get someone else to export it.  Does it need any of those "empties" or armature's?

It doesn't need anything special, I don't think youll want to carry a fire.

Okay, I'll see if heedicalking can do it.

Blender can export as a Direct X (.x) file and Shaper can Import .x files...

Yeah, but for some reason, Shaper dies when it tries to import anything. Well, except for DTS shapes. And maybe Milkshape .txt files.

I'm no modeler or scripter or anything, but wouldn't it need a joint or whatever for the flame emitter?

Actually, yes, name a join fireEmitter. Make it in the center of the sticks, in a mid section.

So an armature named "fireEmitter"?

Nevermind, don't do it, just export it.
