Author Topic: Blockland doesn't work on my 10 year old computer.  (Read 1072 times)

I'm New here, and Whoa..... Blockland really looked cool in videos and Screenshots..Yet, I have a big Problem with it. It Crashes On Start-up.
I'm Using :
NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 MODEL 64
AMD Athlon (No Model. IDK why.)
256 Mb RAM
It runs in another pc with a 256 RAM. But Why this PC wont let it? O_o

Try reinstalling. Sometimes installations can corrupt and cause crashes for seemingly no reason at all.

Even i did..... it still Fails. I'm thinking is it the Processor ? D:
Cuz, Some programs if i use other than Interpreter [Or something] It crashes......

The wise words of an old Blockland player: Buy a new computer.

Get a new PC. That thing is as old as an old... uhh... thing.

Suckiest computer on the forums EVER!

You do not have the minimum required amount of ram.

Your video card is 10 years old.  The company that made your video card, STB, was bought by 3dfx 10 years ago.  3dfx went out of business 8 years ago.

You have not mentioned your operating system but it sounds entirely possible that you are running Windows 98.

It might technically be possible to get the game running if dig up some drivers from the nvidia website but it's probably going to run like crap anyway.

Also in the future, do not post ambiguous topics.  I have edited your topic for you this time, purely because it is amusing.

Badspot's been messing with members' stuff. It is indeed amusing.

mmm 32mb of vram, lovey.

I have twice that, which is still stuff.

Nasa probably has terrabyte ram just laying around, and 2GB vram still costs an assload.

There's no such thing as a terabyte of RAM, and I have never seen any videocard with 2GB of video memory.

Since your motherboard is probably from an outdated company too, I'd suggest just getting a new computer.
If you want to custom-build your own, I'd suggest contacting Reactor Worker with an approximate budget.
If you just want to buy a pre-built, again I suggest contacting Reactor Worker with an approximate budget.

Please, PLEASE, tell him your budget and what you will be using the computer for often.
Example as such:
Hi,
I want a new computer.
I have about $2,000 to spend, and I'm looking for a pre-built computer.
I'm probably going to use this computer often for playing Blockland and school work, maybe movie playing too.

Erm, I'm Using Windows XP..Not 98.....This PC is made By JETWAY. Oh well.....Maybe you guys right, New PC needed........ :cookieMonster:
