Hai, bai, wai?

Some people can type hai and hi, wai and why, bai and bye, faster than others... Why wai post a topic about it..?

I used to talktype with stuff like plz, sry, lol, etc., but I recently decided it was stupid and started typing with grammar and actual words.
But these are extra handicapped because it takes longer to type hai then hi.

Same, I stopped doing that when I was nine.

I only use stuff like that in-game, and even then, I only use 'bai' when I'm with friends.

Why do people say hai, bai and crap like that now? I've noticed that on the forums a lot lately. Is that like a new trend or something? Wouldn't it be much easier or just as easy to say hi, or bye?
